When taking care of thick hair it is essential to choose your products carefully.

Detangle Gently - Use a wide tooth comb or detangling brush, starting at the ends and making your way up.

Avoid over washing - Thick hair is generally pretty good at absorbing the heads natural oils, the natural oils in your hair will help to keep it healthy and hydrated. Over washing will strip these natural oils and leave the hair dry and more damaged. Add a dry shampoo to your routine if excess oil is a problem.

Heat styling - Make sure your protecting your hair during heat styling. Fine hair is far more susceptible to damage from heat styling.

Scalp care - Thick hair increases the likelihood of experiencing scalp issues. Make sure you includes a scalp cleanse to remove product build up and improve blood circulation.
