Frizzy hair
Hair frizz can be caused by many factors; environment, dehydration, damage or health issues. No matter the cause, managing frizzy hair takes time and work.
Hydrate - Use hydrating shampoo and conditioners to deeply nourish your hair. Products designed to manage frizz will be high in ingredients that help lock in the natural moisture. Look for sulphate-fee shampoos
Deep conditioning - Incorporate a mask or treatment into your routine. We suggest leaving your mask in for up to 10 minutes for the most effective results.
Avoid over washing - Each time you wash you will be stripping out some of the natural oils that help to hydrate your hair. Try to keep your washing to a maximum or 2-3 times per week.
Avoid hot water - Washing in lukewarm or cool water will prevent stripping your hair of essential oils and to help seal the hair cuticle.
Protect - Make sure you are using styling products and treatments that counteract further damage. Heat protectants, treatments and leave in conditioners will help to prevent further dehydration.
Gloss - Consider including a gloss or oil in your haircare routine. These products will add shine and trap moisture in.
Routine - Regular trims and silk pillow cases will help to protect your hair.
